The Legacy of the Postal Strike

My wife ordered and paid for a book recently that was posted to her over two weeks ago.

When she went to the Post Office in Westbury on Trym to find out why it had not been delivered, she was told that there is currently a back log of two to three weeks for parcels coming in and out of the Westbury sorting office.

Apparently the delays caused by the recent strike are ongoing, a fact that I have not heard reported and which seems quite important in the run up to Christmas.
