Engineers start Wave Hub drilling operation « South West RDA
The proposed Severn Barrage or other examples of wave-based energy producton all depend on the technology actually working effectively.
The above link records that rigorous testing on wave technology is now underway in Cornwall, funded in part by the south west Regional Development Agency. Results of this testing are bound to have some bearing on the final form of any marine-based energy project in the Severn.
