Image via WikipediaI haven't met anyone with a bad word to say about The King's Speech.
Enjoyed it very much at the Orpheus, recently acquired by the independently-owned Scott Cinemas, based in Newton Abbott.
There's an interesting example of newsreel from 1938 showing King George VI (played in the film by Colin Firth) stammering noticeably when delivering a speech in Glasgow. The speech starts about half way through the clip here.
