New Sustainable Group for Westbury on Trym

Following the launch of the local monthly produce market at the Westbury on Trym Primary School, the organisers are starting a new group to promote sustainable living among Westbury on Trym residents.

Sustainable Westbury is the latest local group affiliated with the Transition movement - which is seeking practical solutions to reduce oil-dependency at every level of society.

The local launch event takes place on April 24th at the Westbury C of E Primary School, starting at 7.30 pm. The running order is:

1. Welcome and intro
2. Sustainability in 5 mins
3. Meet the WOT primary school Eco team
4. Top tips for home energy saving - by the Energy Saving Trust
5. Refreshments
6. Brainstorming session - ideas for Westbury's sustainable future.

More information on the Sustainable group can be found here. A map showing the location of the school can be found here.

Background notes on the Transition movement can be found here.
